Dawn

A cool poem I found in "My documents"- thought I'd share lol

The world is black, tarnished with sin
Every crevice, every sinew is manifested with no hope.
It tastes like the bitter leaves of Sorrel.
The sonorous echoes of torture sound like a thundering horn
All around, in this secular society
Sedition reigns, seldom stopping to think, or breathe.

Selfish ambition segregates right from wrong.
The miscarriage of justice is like a scorpion’s sting;
It is all too common for the unwary; the ill-prepared.

The Sacramental wine has been spilt
Yet it is not forgotten.

For the victory is won
And the oppressor is living on borrowed time
Trumpets will sound the coming of a new era
As sure as the dawn approaches
This wicked regime will fall.
The oppressed become the oppressor
And righteous judgement reigns from on high.

For He is just;
Our sin will be paid for
And his wrath will fall on those who resist him
Only the equipped will survive.
I pray to God that you are ready.
